Rank the different categories by level of importance, from 1-5, 1 being the most important and 5 being the least. In your journal, write about why one area is more important than another.

Organize Your Ideas Now look at your list. What items are related? What categories should each fall under? Re-organize the items on your list by circling or grouping or color coding or making a chart, etc. Up to you. Be prepared to explain the rationale behind what you’ve done.
Explanation Criteria Choose 5 items from your list. Copy each onto 5 different sticky notes. 2. Stick each note onto the poster where you think it most closely belongs. 3. Listen for next steps.
Goal Write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey ideas, concepts, and information clearly and accurately through the effective selection, organization, and analysis of content.
