The filled (open) circles represent positive (negative) responses to haemodynamic parameters, and each triangle represents a crossover between positive and negative response. To get 6 crossovers, 18, 20, and 23 patients were used in Groups 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The same end-tidal sevoflurane concentration was used in the seventeenth patient both in Group 2 and Group 3. The MAC BAR of sevoflurane was the mean value of the last 6 crossovers in each group.
