NATIONAL INITIATIVES Runway Incursion Study Development of Conflict Alert Software Controller Proficiency Checks

LOCAL INITIATIVES Increased Supervision Re-certification of the controller(s) involved. Reducing Traffic demand until procedures can be reviewed. Heighten Controller awareness of the seriousness of Operating Irregularities and underlying causes.

REGULATORY SANCTIONS Separation Standards are part of the CARs Transport Canada has the authority to assess monetary penalties.
