The capital of Tennessee is Nashville The capital of Tennessee is Nashville. Tennessee became a state on June 1, 1796.

Tennessee’s state bird is the Mockingbird. The flower of TN is Iris.

The nickname of Tennessee is Volunteer State. The state tree of TN is the Tulip poplar. There are 86 colleges/universities.

One famous person from Tennessee is Dolly Parton who is a famous singer.

Another famous person is Miley Cyrus who is also a famous singer.

My favorite college is Fisk University because it will only cost $19,624 and it’s a small college because there are only 101 kids there.

One thing to do in Tennessee is you could go to Parthenon which looks like an Ancient Greek temple. Another thing you could do is go to DollyWood which is a theme park Dolly Parton made.

Another place to visit is Ruby Falls which is a beautiful waterfall that people love to visit. Another place to go is Graceland, the former home and estate of Elvis Presley.

One last place to visit is the Capitol Of Tennessee.

An interesting fact of TN is that it has a song it goes like this “I do not know of another state where I had rather be than this great state I’m living in and that is Tennessee.” Another fact about Tennessee is that the state size with water and land it’s 42,143 feet.

The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee has the longest radio program that started on Nov. 28, 1925. Another fact is that Tennessee made Mountain Dew in the 1940s.

Tennessee has 4,000 caves that people know about and still searching for more.
