CTE Program Area Internship 2017 ACOVA Fall Conference Debbie McKintosh, Director of Career & Technical Education Tolleson Union High School District

CTE Internship Teacher Certified in any CTE area and a willingness to work with students from all program areas Regular teaching schedule + 2-3 weeks outside of contracted time Monitor student progress through workplace observations, by working closely with mentors Recruiting presentations

Applying for the Program Area Capstone Senior student at least 16 years old who is in good standing and on target to graduate Minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA Successful completion of CTE Program Area Coherent Sequence Passed ADE CTE Technical Skills Assessment Two teacher recommendations & parent approval Able to provide own transportation to/from internship placement
