A smart dog ! - Written & photoed by Lee hyo sun -

Look ! What do you see ? Is this a cat ? or is this a fox ? Look carefully. Whose ear is this?

It's a dog’s ear. Do you like a dog? These days, dog is one of the most popular pets in the world. Do you know about a dog? A baby dog is a puppy.

Today, more than 400 breeds exist in the world.

Dogs are smart, cute and faithful. So, many people raise dogs as a pet. Also dogs protect their owners. They usually follow their owners well.

Dogs run very fast. So, people use dogs for hunt.

Dogs can see a little color. But, dogs listen very well with ears. And dogs smell well. Do you know why? Because dogs have wet noses.

A wet nose helps them smell better. So, dogs lick their noses with their tongues very often . Have you ever seen it?

On rainy days, we can smell better than on sunny days. It is the same reason.

Dogs don’t sweat through their skin. So dogs pant to cool off. They inhale cool, fresh air and exhale warm air that carries away extra body heat.

Dogs can guide the directions for blind people. So, if you have very weak eye-sights, you can use a trained-dog.

And also, people use a dog to find missing people in the forest. Dogs can protect households from burglars. In this reason, lots of people raise a dog as a pet. Do you want to raise a cute dog ?
