John Glenn The man who dared!!

Inspiring Was a great senator. He was one of the best. He then stopped his job. He went on to space travel.

Determined First American in space.> Made history. Was well educated. He worked hard for his spot.

Supreme He took off in a spaceship called friendship 7. Was ready for anything. He was one of the best astronauts.

Wonderful He was the first man to orbit Earth. He was up in space for two hours. He made it home safe. Now talks about his adventure.

Trying He is still alive today. Is always talking to people about what happened. He made another trip to mercury but failed the mission.
