Job Description Biomedical engineering or bioengineering is the synthesizing of engineering with biology and health care. Biomedical engineers then use engineering to diagnose and treat diseases as well as to help, fix, or alleviate the pain that comes with disabilities and injuries. By working with people in these medical fields such as doctors and researchers, technologies are created that can save lives and solve clinical problems.
