The Day I Cleaned My Room By Rohan & Simon
This is Jonathan: he thinks that hes just too good to clean his room.
Jonathans mother thought he was a clean and tidy boy…
…until she looked inside his room.
His mother was appalled at what she saw.
She told him to start with the green hairy things.
But Jonathan found more than green hairy things, he found: smelly socks, hands off clocks, a smelly old rug and lots of dead bugs. As he cleaned he felt that being clean could be an interesting idea.
That night Jonathan actually considered brushing his teeth but wasnt feeling like it.
The next day Jonathans mother told him to clean the mouldy cheese chunks off his floor.
Again Jonathan found stacks more than what hed expected, he found: rotten eggs, old clothes pegs, guinea pigs poo and horse shoe goo. Jonathan definitely liked the idea of being tidy.
That night, Jonathan brushed his teeth and thought about how dirty his face was but didnt want to wash it just yet.
In the morning, Jonathan could see his room becoming cleaner but wasnt sure if he was happy about that.
That day Jonathan didnt need to be told by his mother to clean his room. He found: his broken guitar, a candy bar, an expired fizzy drink and something extinct. Jonathan was really beginning to like the idea of being clean.
Jonathan brushed his teeth and hair that night, he even thought about taking a shower.
Jonathan thought his room was now fairly clean but his mother disagreed and said one more clean would do.
After a bit of tidying, dusting and some vacuuming Jonathans room was the cleanest it had ever been.
Jonathan now thought he was a tidy boy like his parents by showering, brushing his hair and cleaning his teeth.
Until he looked in their room! Restart
