EAR The space between the eardrum and the inner ear that contains the three auditory ossicles, which convey vibrations through the oval window to the cochlea. Also called tympanum. Back

ARM An upper limb of the human body, connecting the hand and wrist to the shoulder. Back

MOUTH The cavity lying at the upper end of the alimentary canal, bounded on the outside by the lips and inside by the oropharynx and containing in higher vertebrates the tongue, gums, and teeth. Back

FACE The surface of the front of the head from the top of the forehead to the base of the chin and from ear to ear. Back

EYEBROW. The bony ridge extending over the eye. Back

EYELASH Any of the short hairs fringing the edge of the eyelid. Back

FOOT/FEET The lower extremity of the vertebrate leg that is in direct contact with the ground in standing or walking. Back

FINGER One of the five digits of the hand, especially one other than the thumb. Back

HAIR Any of the cylindrical, keratinized, often pigmented filaments characteristically growing from the epidermis of a mammal. Back

HAND The terminal part of the human arm located below the forearm, used for grasping and holding and consisting of the wrist, palm, four fingers, and an opposable thumb. Back

LEG The part of the limb between the knee and foot in vertebrates. Back

TOES The digits of the foot of a human or animal. Back

NECK The part of the body joining the head to the shoulders or trunk. Back

STOMACH The enlarged, saclike portion of the alimentary canal, one of the principal organs of digestion, located in vertebrates between the esophagus and the small intestine. Back

TOOTH. One of a set of hard, bonelike structures rooted in sockets in the jaws of vertebrates, typically composed of a core of soft pulp surrounded by a layer of hard dentin that is coated with cementum or enamel at the crown and used for biting or chewing food or as a means of attack or defense. Back

ANKLE. The joint formed by the articulation of the lower leg bones with the talus. The ankle connects the foot with the leg. Back

BACK  The posterior portion of the trunk of the human body between the neck and the pelvis; the dorsum. Back

CHEST The part of the body between the neck and the abdomen, enclosed by the ribs and the breastbone; the thorax. Back

CHIN Chin and prominent nose of humans interrupt the generally vertical profile of adult human faces and are said to be distinguishing characteristics separating modern humans from prehuman ancestors and from other primates. Back

ELBOW The joint or bend of the arm between the forearm and the upper arm. Back

SHOULDER The part of the human body between the neck and upper arm. Back

FOREHEAD The part of the face between the eyebrows, the normal hairline, and the temples. Back

TONGUE The fleshy, movable, muscular organ, attached in most vertebrates to the floor of the mouth, that is the principal organ of taste, an aid in chewing and swallowing, and, in humans, an important organ of speech. Back
