Presentation transcript:

As I look out, staring at the clouds, they are floating like icebergs on a sea of baby blue. The rocks feel warm as I reach out to touch them, its crumbly texture like digestive biscuits. Small trees sprout from the rocks, swishing hypnotically in the gentle breeze. A calming current soothingly surges below my feet, carrying small multicoloured fish, who are helpless against the motion of the water. As I look out over the distant horizon I see green leaves, floating invalidly, like a butterfly freely flying through midair. The rocks baking in the sun as if it was being swallowed and trapped. Peacefully, the trees sway in the breeze, like a baby gently rocking as it falls to sleep. The trees danced as the birds sang their beautiful calming song. The sun has breathed on the rocks, scorching its pale surface. The chimney is an energetic volcano just waiting to erupt. The fluttering confetti swirls around in the strong wind, then slowly descends to the watery depths below and gets swept away by the powerful current. The village is a peaceful, yet busy place, with small round huts surrounding the sunburnt cliffs below. Matthew T © Background picture copyright of Ubisoft Entertainment

The clouds are like lava rushing down the side of the rocky volcanoes. This abandoned dwarf mine has been picked at until its very end. The mountains; never-ending vanilla ice- creams waiting to be found. The leaves are green peas, flicked by tiny children in the dinner hall. As I look out over the deserted village I see the high mountains covered in drips of white icing sugar. I close my eyes and hear the leaves and trees shivering with fear, like something is about to harm them. The warm breeze picks up the smell of the flowers, carrying it through the air. As I stand on the balcony and stare up at the sky I can see the clouds like children in a sports day race, charging through the soft, blue track. The small pool below has a gentle current that is pushing the leaves over the edge of a waterfall after they have plummeted to the watery depths below. A tiny speck of light. A city living in the deepest of earths twisting and twirling holes. As I look upon the iridescent city the waters current urges me to touch the sun jagged teeth that stick out from the depths of the earth. Everywhere confetti of gold flitters and flutters towards the icing capped mountains that ascend about the rivers water, which hypnotises me. As I look out over the rocky, distant horizon, I peer out at the crystal clear pool, basking in the boiling hot sun. My eyes detect the wind lightly battering the soft leaves of the forest green trees. The colossal ravine stands before me; a giant standing straight above me; a soldier standing to attention. The light cool breezes fingertips stroke my face softly. Birds tweet occasionally as I squint at the distant mountains. They loom above me like skyscrapers. The waterfall cascades in the distance. I hear the cool water, trickling down the soft, sunbathing rocks. I take a deep breath and the sweet air fills my lungs. Rachel R © Background picture copyright of Ubisoft Entertainment
