BRIDGES This presentation should guide you as you enter (treatment plan) bridge codes. Please follow all instructions.

BRIDGES If doing a Porcelain Bridge you will use the following codes: D6750 for all Abutments(Retainers) D6240 for all pontics If doing a Full Metal Bridge you will use the following codes: D6790 for all abutments (retainers) D6211 for all pontics ***All Bridge codes will be under the category Fixed Prosthetics***

BRIDGES First step when treatment planning bridges is.. Teeth that will be used as pontics should be marked missing. For example you are entering a bridge from #29-31….

CONTINUED Select tooth #30 (pontic)… Right click… Select missing… See next slide

BRIDGES Now you need to enter the abutments. Highlight tooth and procedure code… Treatment plan…

This is how your bridge should look….

BRIDGES All units (abutments and pontics) must be of the same status at all times…For example: When procedure is started and marked in process When procedure has been completed Dates on all units should ALWAYS be the same (All units are attached).
