Your title goes here (around 80-120 font size) Regular text and hints Graphics and color Three columns makes a nice poster. Regular text size should be around 36 point. Remember to align things. Have a rationale for where things go. Think of a newspaper or magazine. Do NOT just randomly place items on poster (looks bad). Remember this poster and template is 3 feet by 4 feet – HUGE! Use colored fonts and fun fonts (try going to DaFont to get a fun font) to add interest to your poster. Please DO NOT color the background of the slide. You can have colored boxes or graphics and other color elements. On images, DO NOT increase the size of the image on the slide – the resolution will not hold and the graphic will look really bad (pixelated) when printed. Please DO NOT use any copyrighted or watermarked graphics. Color boxes can be nice. Light colors work best and please give the text some breathing room in box. Don’t take text right to the edge of box. Proof and Save as PDF Lastly, when all done (and proofed – as these posters are very expensive to print). Please save your PowerPoint slide as a PDF file. Go to “File -> Save as – then choose PDF from the dropdown menu. It MUST be a PDF file for us to print it!
