We all love animals People in Poland are very fond of animals. Most families have got a pet. Some people take their pets to shows. There are big internatlion shows. You can see thousands of cats or dogs there. There are also lots of local shows. Adlut and children take their dogs, cats, birds, horses and hamsters to these shows. There are prizes for the best animals.

Horse riding is very popular in Poland. Children go to riding schools,where they learn how to ride and how to look after horses.There are lots of horse shows with prizes for riding, jumping and other events.

There are lots of programmes abaut animals on televison. There are programmes about wild animals from all over the word and about pets, too. One of the most popular programme is Animals Planet. A lot of children watch it. There are lots of zoos in Poland. The are some National Parks, too. In these parks the animal aren`t in cages. They live in fileds and forests.People walk or ride round the park in their cars to watch the animals.

They are originally native to the Andes, and while they are no longer extant in the wild, they are closely related to several species which are commonly found in the grassy plains and plateaus of this region. My hamster`s name is Stiuart and hes a male.

Hamsters don`t live very long. They only live for about two or three years old. I keep him in a cage in the the house, His cage is on a small desk in the hall. I can`t keep in my bedroom, because hamsters are nocturnal and they are very noisy at night.

I love my hamster very much. Every month my mum takes me to the shop in town. It `s my favourite shop. There are lots of animals there. I buy food. My hamster eats vegetables, seed, fruit and drink water. Stiuart is fluffy, smoth and fast. It has got long whiskers, sharp claws. a very short tail, and very very sharp teeth. I feed it every two days. I put clean wather in to his cage every day.

My dog I have got one pet-dog. The dog is a female and her name is Sonia. She is one year old. Sonia has got short, brown fur. She has got small eyes. She has got a small nose, long tail and long ears. She eats bones. She sleeps in a basket in my bedroom.

This is Natalka`s dog. It`s name is Hipek. She feeds him every day. She gives him dog food and clean water. He sleeps in the basket in her bedroom. She plays with him after school and takes him for a walk. She likes her dog very much.

Some of us keep birds. The most popular are budgerigards, parrots, canaries, and nightingales. We look after them carefully. We give them seeds and clean water every day. We clean their cages every two or three days. We also like painting birds. There is one of our art. works about birds. BUDGERIGARDS

Lion lives in Africa. It is a very fast animal. It has got whiskers, sharp claws, smoth fur, a long tail, sharp teeth,on the neck its fur is long and fluffy.It has got a yellow and on the neck dark fur. They only live for about twenty or thrity years. Lion is my favourite wild animal!!! You can see a lion and other wild animals at the ZOO.

Elephant There are three main living species of elephants: African Bush Elephant, African Forest Elephant and Asian Elephant. An elephant can live as long as 70 years and sometimes longer. It has got a big ears. It uses their ears for temperature regulation. The elephant has got strong legs. It can stand for very long periods of time without tiring. We can see the elephants in the zoo.
