Some of the people you will vote for our based on your zipcode Some of the people you will vote for our based on your zipcode. They directly represent you and are called your local representatives. State Senator State Representative Congressman

Our State Senator is: Daniel Biss Represent the 9th district (Skokie and Evanston) Democrat Was a state representative first (2008) Elected to senate in 2012

Our State Representative is: Laura Fine or Louis Lang depending on your zip code Both are democrats Louis Lang represents the 16th district Laura Fine represents the 17th district

Our congresswoman is: Jan Schakowsky Democrat One of the most influential people in Congress Important to note she is female and Jewish Elected in 1998 Serves 9th district (where she also grew up)
