International Lattice Data Grid Chip Watson LQCD Facilities Review Boston, May 24-25, 2005

Outline Purpose of ILDG Scope Funding Status facilitate sharing of configuration files justification: leverage international resources, fairly Scope middleware definition, deployment data format standardization (meta-data, file formats) Funding SciDAC activity (part of LQCD SciDAC scope) Leverage PPDG, base program funds Status QCDML1.0 (meta-data standards, draft presented at Lat-2004) Middleware architecture adopted (stateless web services, SRM); these are sub-set of what is expected to be used for meta-facility operations
