“UNANSWERED” PRAYERS 2 CORINTHIANS 12:7-10

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 Paul was forced to boast 11:1,16; 12:11 Paul was persecuted 11:22-33 weak v.29 boasted in his infirmity v.30; 13:3-4,9 Paul had revelations 12:1-6 boasted in his infirmities (weaknesses) v.5 Thorn in the flesh, messenger of Satan to buffet me related to Paul’s weakness v.9 = infirmities v.9 = infirmities v.10: reproaches, needs, persecutions, distresses

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 Thorns can be figurative Numbers 33:55 Satan was the source Job 1:11-12; 2:3 Paul pleaded three times for it to depart God answered his request with grace: My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness Lesson learned is worth the pain God’s grace teaches us Titus 2:11
