Wolverines can be up to 44 inches. These fast animals can weigh up to 55 pounds! They can be dark brown, light face mask, and have a stripe on both sides of its body.

Wolverines can live for 12 years.

Wolverines are carnivores. They L-O-V-E meat! They eat caribou, moose, ground squirrels, and snowshoe hares.

In 48 states there are less then 500 left! In the U.S. there are only around 32.

Wolverines live in trees that are in high elevations. They live from Maine to Washington. They live in the Rocky Mountains and the Sierra Cascade Mountains.

The wolverine uses eyes so they can see in the dark. The wolverine uses its teeth so it can rip its food. The wolverine uses its claws to scratch its prey.

Climate changes cause melting snow so wolverines cant build dens.

The kits fur is white when it is a child. Their fur is thik,oily,and hydrophobic.
