If the school interacts without the family then parent power is lost. Child School and family interaction without the child can be purely information sharing lacking real impact If the school interacts without the family then parent power is lost. At this point maximum family engagement is achieved securing the best outcomes for the child

Impact Parents Meeting November 49 evaluations were completed. 100% of parents said they enjoyed the opportunity to come into school and work with their child 100% of parents felt that the resource pack will be useful for their child’s homework 96% of parents said that they felt more confident about helping their child at home with their writing Some examples of addition comments made on feedback forms: I now have a better understanding of how writing is taught in class How it help with connectives, punctuation, sentence openers and wow words I learned that I can do more to progress my child’s written skills I learned how to breakdown the story to help my child know what to include I learned that parents have the greatest percentage of impact

It was wonderful seeing how his writing improved over the course. We found the training a great help; it helped me to understand where he was with his writing and how I was able to help him progress. It was wonderful seeing how his writing improved over the course. Return
