What is Cades Cove? Cades Cove is a cove forest, which is a valley shaped like a bowl, with the lowest elevation in the middle. How was it formed? It was created when a thrust fault caused land to push towards one another. Over time the mountain eroded away and created the valley. Planning a Visit?
