Rules are sometimes called codes of behavior People live by rules so that life is orderly and people get along with each other When people have good habits and attitudes, they are following the rules. Following a code behavior shows respect for yourself and others Breaking the rules has consequences (example: traffic ticket or low grade for turning in homework late)
