Skill 1:decode the topic To understand the deep meaning of the main topic and organize our ideas by dividing the topic into (Introduction, body, and conclusion) like writing research outline. Skill 2: Develop Supporting Ideas In this step, we need to develop our ideas and support them with reasons, examples ,and making our answer as personal as possible.

Skill 3: Introductory Paragraph The goals of writing an introduction Explain clearly what you are going to discuss. Interest the reader to your topic and he/she should be eager to your essay . The reader should have exact idea about your topic and how are you going to organize the rest of your essay.

Types of Clauses

Simple Sentence It has one clause and carry a fill meaning. e.g Ali plays football. s.+ v.+ Comp. e.g Ali and Ahmad play football. e.g Ali plays football. e.g They play football.

Compound Sentence Compound Sentence= main Clause+ connector+ main Clause. Main Clause= S.+ v.+ Comp. Subordinate Clause= S.+ v.+ Comp.

Compound Sentence Tom drove too fast. He got a ticket for speeding. Tom drove too fast, so he got a ticket for speeding. Tom drove too fast; he got a ticket for speeding. Tom drove too fast ;as a result, he got a ticket for speeding.

Complex Sentence

Noun Clause e.g They do not understand what I said. e.g Who is responsible for the accident is unknown.

Adjectival clause e.g The professor who wrote the book is giving the lectures.

Adverbial Clause e.g Final grades will be available after the semester ends. e.g After the semester ends, final grades will be available.
