Isolation of Kingella kingae in the oropharynx during K Isolation of Kingella kingae in the oropharynx during K. kingae arthritis in children  R. Basmaci, B. Ilharreborde, P. Bidet, C. Doit, M. Lorrot, K. Mazda, E. Bingen, S. Bonacorsi  Clinical Microbiology and Infection  Volume 18, Issue 5, Pages E134-E136 (May 2012) DOI: 10.1111/j.1469-0691.2012.03799.x Copyright © 2012 European Society of Clinical Infectious Diseases Terms and Conditions

FIG. 1 Genetic relatedness of rtxA gene sequences. Sequences were obtained from six Kingella kingae strains (s) isolated in the throat of children hospitalized for septic arthritis, and from their respective joint-fluid DNA extracts (jf). The dendrogram was constructed by the Neighbour Joining method using the MEGA 3.1 program. rtxA sequence of type strain ATCC 23330 is included for comparison.
