European Recognition of Prior Learning Network Meeting Glasgow 23 June 2011

Identified topics of interest

How do we want the Network to work? How do we do the work we want to do?

How do we want the Network to work? This session aims to: Come up with a way in which we can all work together, given the resources we have and the constraints that we face...

What we have: our resources Us Our time Our experiences Your organisations Your colleagues’ time and experiences Their support Practitioners in your country’s Universities Their time Their experiences The Bologna Follow-Up Group and the secretariat Other...

What we don’t have: the constraints! Money – we do this for the ‘love’ Our time is not always our own... Geography

Ask ourselves some questions... Who should the Network benefit and work for the most? Us? Our organisations? Our Universities? Our practitioners? Our students?

Building a Vision Split into three groups and consider: If the network were fulfilling all its promise, what would be happening? How would you feel? What would you and others be celebrating? Then: Generate a shared "picture" and a memorable phrase to describe it.

Building a Vision You have 30 minutes in your group Appoint someone to feedback your ‘vision’ Re-convene in the larger group and discuss all together Coffee!!!
