Our History Throughout her life, Mary Kay Ash showed others how to live and how to give. She gave hope to women who lacked opportunity, self-esteem and financial support. Now her legacy of love lives on through The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation.

Established in Canada in 2001, the mission of the Foundation is two-fold: To support women living with cancer through the Look Good Feel Better® program To help end violence against women by providing grants to women's shelters and community outreach programs.

Who’s at risk? 1 in 2 women will develop some form of cancer 1 in 3 women will be a victim of violence

The Foundation raises funds through: The sale of fundraising items and events Donations made by the independent sales force, corporate staff and consumers.

Beauty That CountsTM Campaign Since 2008, this campaign has raised more than $195,000 for the Foundation

MK5K – Diane Tsialtas Memorial Run In honour of the dear colleague we lost in 2015, this event has raised more than $60,000 for the Foundation.

Since 2001, the Foundation has donated: More than $1.4 million to shelters and programs addressing domestic violence Almost $1 million to help women going through cancer treatment throughout Canada.

From every dollar raised, 96 cents goes to these two important causes. This is almost unprecedented in the charitable world!

Look Good Feel Better This program is dedicated to assisting Canadian women living with cancer learn special cosmetic techniques to help manage the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Look Good Feel Better Since its inception in 1992, it is estimated that the Look Good Feel Better program has helped more than 200,000 women living with cancer.

Look Good Feel Better In addition, 50% of Look Good Feel Better volunteers are Mary Kay Sales Force members.

Shelter Grant Program Since 2004, the Foundation has awarded over 125 Shelter Grants to women’s shelters and community outreach programs nationwide that aid the victims of domestic violence

There are a variety of ways to plan for The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation in your will.
