Journey In 5th grade she played Dorothy in her school's production of "The Wizard of Oz." Idian at the age of 15 began working, she sang at weddings and traditional Jewish events. She went to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in drama. She additioned for rent and got the part. Rent was off Broadway but because of it’s popularity it moved to Broadway Netherlander Theater. After, her carrier took off she won a Tony award.
