Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class A Peek at Next Week in… Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class April 23 2019 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives: Reading: DRA testing will be taking place as we read books from a series and review all the skills we have learned this year. Language: -  Students will continue work with editing sentences and using descriptive adjectives and correct verb tense in their writing; identify character traits. Writing: Students will continue drafting and trying out mentor author's techniques in their imaginative stories. Spelling Words: - None Math: Students will focus on fractions over the next few weeks. Science: Students will study plants this week. Social Studies: Students will learn how technology creates change - transportation.
