How do students get Promoted? To earn promotion to the 9th grade, students are required to pass five out of six subjects each semester. Language Arts and Mathematics must be two of the five subjects passed. Academic Assistance Program – (AAP) All Core Subjects Summer School Available

How many credits are required to Graduate High School in Georgia? 23 Credits (Carnegie Units): 4 Language Arts 4 Math 4 Science 3 Social Studies 3 World Language and/or CTE and/or Fine Arts 4 Electives 1 Health and Physical Education (Intro to Personal Fitness) *World Language is not a requirement for graduation, but is part of the requirements to be accepted into a 4 year college in Georgia.

High School credit options available at Northbrook Middle School Algebra 1 Accelerated Algebra Physical Science Spanish 1 Foundations of Engineering *If a student accepts credit, the MS grade shown on the high school transcript will only be a “P” for pass. Not calculated in HS GPA or for the HOPE Scholarship. Cannot repeat class if credit is accepted.
SPIRE Program at PRHS
Each 9th grade student takes 4 required classes: Language Arts, Math, Science, Health/PE World Geography recommended There are 8 semester spots to fill on the registration form. If a student has a yearlong class, that takes 2 spots. (One spot in the fall and one in the spring) Yearlong examples: Band, Orchestra, Dance.. List 3 Additional Elective Choices as back ups
