A Study on Migrated Workers in Garment Industry in Tirupur District By: S.AIshwarya MA.,M.PHIL.,

What is migration Migration is the permanent movement of persons from one geographical location or region to another

Statement of the problem Most of the laboures are going in garment industry in Tirupur .The migrant rural from urban for their life betterment . In the present study migrate laboures are facing many problem both mentally and physical stain also .

Limitation of the study The study fully based on availability of the information from the selected sources and data collection also limited by the time factor. The study focused only the migrated workers in Tirupur District. The study covered only the Tirupur District.

Objective of the study To analyze the socio economic background of migrated workers in Tirupur District. To identify the problem faced by the migrate workers in their working place in the study area. To offer suitable suggestion to over come the problem of migrate labours

Methodology The primary data were collected throw field survey technique was used to collect the data from 50 sample respondents in tirupur district .The percentage analysis were used to analysis the migrate laboures in tirupur district.

FINDINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

Findings The most important problem faced by the migrate labour is Fixing lower wages and poor interaction. problem for migrants in their living place were poor water facility, insufficient doors and windows in room ,bath room facility.

Suggestion Most of the migrated workers in Tirupur District area unit relying garment industries for his or her life betterment. However, they are operating in low level satisfaction. So that the apparel industry owners ought to take some necessary steps for fulfilling their satisfaction. The government conjointly involves protective the rights of migrants in their work likewise as living places.
