Coastal Erosion and Accretion Meghna Estuary, 1973-2000 Land is continuously evolving through erosion and accretion process in the Meghna Estuary. Erosion-accretion of land occurs in the scale of hundred km2/year, out of which net accretion is about 20 km2/year.
