Parent – Teacher Communication You can access your child’s grades online through the Parent Portal. This will show you an updated grade and if there are any missing assignments. I will be email you a snapshot of your child’s grade book once a month. You can check if they have any missing assignments at this time. Progress reports will be mailed out at the end of the quarter and semester. No access to internet – let me know and I will send a hard copy and call. Homework Policy Homework is due the following class meeting Late work is accepted for partial credit before the end of the semester. Absent work is given as many days as absent to complete for full credit. Excessive missing work may result in ZAP(Zeros are not permitted)

Test and Quizzes Practice tests may be taken until a passing score of 70% is achieved. Help your child study for their tests and quizzes by going over missed problems on their practice tests on Aleks. Retests are given Tuesdays after school. All missing work for that chapter must be turned in prior to taking test. A passing score of 70% must be reached on practice test as well.
