4th Grade April News Math Reading Social Studies Science English This month we are learning many different things. We are still doing some with fractions. We are looking at customary and metric units of measurement. We are using line plots to answer questions. We are also finding perimeter and area. Reading We are working on our last unit. It is all about achieving our goals and dreams. Ask your child about the stories we’ve been reading. Social Studies We are continuing our study of South Dakota. We will be using an on line road trip to “visit” some of our important cities. Science 4th just finished a chapter this week, about the water cycle, oceans, and scientific processes that involve water. English We are writing paragraphs and reviewing previously taught skills. *April 5 Friday – Snow Day makeup 2:20 dismiss *April 8 – No school Staff In-service *April 10 – 4/5 parent breakfast *April 18 – 12:50 dismiss * April 22 – No school
