remember + to –inf: not forget I must remember to post these letters today

remember +-ing form: recall She remembers seeing him for the first time

forget + to –inf: not remember Oh, no! I forgot to lock the front door

forget + -ing form: to remember sth that happened in the past I’ll never forget spending my time with my grandpa when I was a child

regret + -ing form: feel sorry about She regrets arguing with her best friend

Regret + to –inf: be sorry to(it’s used in the present simple and followed by verbs such as say,tell, inform) We regret to inform you that the flight from Antalya to İstanbul has been delayed.

try + -ing form: do sth as an experiment You should try eating more fruit. It’s good for your health .

try + to –inf: do one’s best He tried to finish his homework, but it was too difficult.

Stop + to –inf: stop briefly to do sth else We stopped to help the people in the car.
