Welcome to First Grade! Miss Flaherty 2018-2019

Let’s Take a Look at What We’ve Been Up to So Far…

Meet Miss Flaherty! 16 years of teaching experience (grades 1-4) Bachelor’s Degree: University of Michigan Elementary Education Early Childhood Certification Master’s Degree: Michigan State University Educational Administration

Arrival/Dismissal Students will line up at the door outside our classroom (Door #7). When it is rainy/cold (below 32 degrees), students will enter through front doors and line up in the gym. Doors open when the first bells rings at 8:13 and stays open until the tardy bell at 8:15. If you arrive after tardy bell (8:15), you must bring your child to the door by the main office. Dismissal will be at the outside door. ID’s are required!

Homework Expect Reading and Math homework every night except Fridays. At Home Projects on a limited basis
