Doing Great Things For God! Let us not be overwhelmed by the work God has given us

An Example of Long Ago Remnant of God’s people returned to Canaan from Babylon Began Well Laying the foundation of the new temple – shouting for joy! Ezra 3:11 Zechariah and Haggai sent to motivate the people Haggai 1:4-7

Identifying with the Children of God Lord’s people are a small remnant as compared to other religions Given a large task of building the church Some have faced discouragement Some have allowed the cares of the world to be a hindrance Some procrastinate when a difficult task needs to be done Let us consider our ways!

Haggai and Zechariah’s Instruction Shows Us How: We can do it – when we do it for God Zech 4:6; Matt 6:33; Phil 4:19 Do not despise the small things Mal 3:10; 2 Cor 8:2-3; 9:6-8 Be strong and work Hag 2:3-4; Heb 10:23-25; 2 Timothy 2:15; Hag 2:7-8
