Setting a Journal (or Search) Alert

First, you need to make sure that Langsdale subscribes to the journal First, you need to make sure that Langsdale subscribes to the journal. You can do this by selecting the journal tab and typing in a journal title

Click on the title link if it’s available electronically.

In order to create the alert, you have to set up an account (easy – just create a user name and password with your email) and sign in

You can sign in from school, home or work to have access to saved searches, articles, etc

Again, search for or browse the journal by title

Click on the “Share” link, which gives you an option to send an email alert when the next issue is published.

Simply type in your email Simply type in your email. You’ll receive an email with the full table of contents for the next issue!

You can also set up an alert for a particular search – this is great if you’re studying a topic over time.

You can have the search run once a day, once a week, bi-weekly or once a month. You’ll get an email with any new articles on your topic.
