WHAT? Café Lingua is a meeting point for people interested in languages and cultures. Meetings offer an excellent opportunity for multilingual and multicultural events right in the centre of Rovaniemi. LANGUAGES: Scandinavian languages, German, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Finnish, English WHY? You can meet new friends, improve your spoken language skills, learn about new cultures! FOR WHO? Everyone and anyone interested in languages and cultures! WHERE? Hostel Café Koti - Valtakatu 21 (center of town)

Benefits of becoming a leader: A great opportunity to practice group working and team leading skills! Meet new people, make friends, grow your network. You will receive an official work certificate – this will look good on your CV! We will arrange several fun get-togethers for leaders! You will get drink tickets for each time you host your group, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! Duties of leaders: At least one leader should be present during the entire 2 hour-session (6-8 PM) every other week for the spring term (January-April). There can be several leaders for each language group! Act as the chair of your group – activate discussion, share thoughts about your culture.
