Christopher Columbus

Christopher Columbus was a Spanish voyager and the inventor of new lands.

Christopher explored islands in the Carribean Sea and Central America. Also,he was the first who crossed the Atlantic Ocean and the first Europeans who walked in the Caribbean Sea . Columbus discovered America and a lot of small and big islands.

He was born in the Republic of Genoa in 1,451.

In 1470Columbus has already participated in sea trading expeditions and in 1476 he moved to Portugal.

His dream was to swim to India His dream was to swim to India. Columbus asked hard the Kings of France,Spain,England to organise this expedition.

Christopher made four voyages.

So , on the third of August in 1492 three karavels 'Santa-Maria‘ , ‘Nin ‘ ya‘ and ‘Pinta‘ went in trip to find a new way to the coast of India.

Columbus' second voyage At the third of November they found more islands : Dominica , Guadeloupe and Jamajka.

The third voyage of Columbus This trip began on the 30 of May in 1498 and took a more southern route.

The Final voyage It started on the 9-th of May in1502 . On the 4 th of July he found Central America.

Soon, Queen Isabella died Soon, Queen Isabella died . She was one person,who supported Columbus and was always on the side of him . One year later,Columbus become ill and died in 1506 . Unfortunately, he didn*t know that discovered a new continent America.

Because of his discoveries, he is very famous around the world
