What is Peripheral Neuropathy? Peripheral Neuropathy (PN) is describe as a condition that is characterized by some or all of the following: loss of sensation tingling numbness and burning sleep disturbance

What are the causes of PN In many cases of PN, the cause is often unknown or what is commonly called idiopathic.

What are the causes of PN But some are due to: drugs post-chemotherapy or heavy metal toxicities

Statistical Facts Peripheral neuropathy is very widespread. In the US, it is estimated that between 15 million and 20 million patients suffer from PN The medical cost of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and its complications is close to $14 billion annually. 27% of the direct medical costs may be attributed to diabetic PN.

But there is good news... Very significant progress being made in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy.

Treating Neuropathy Treatments are now available that will allow patients to not only get excellent in-office care, but to be discharged in a very reasonable period of time to a home treatment program with follow-up.
