A* and Additional Skills/Content Maths Grades Old GCSE Grades   U G F E D C B A A* and Additional Skills/Content New GCSE Grades 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8  9 Grades 9 to 1 instead of A*-G W grades for those below a G grade What’s a W grade? Why does it say U?

Tips for getting the best grade possible: In the exam itself: Attempt every question Show all working out, even on a calculator paper Before then: Bring your calculator to every lesson and know how to use it Have a mathematical equipment set and know how to use it Ask for help Listen to the advice your teacher gives you Do some iGCSE past papers Do your homework! Revise

Which topic should I revise? RAG sheets – repeated after every exam paper. How to use them: First work on your amber topics. Turn them into greens. Then pick a red topic to revise. Choose one you know you should be able to do, but can’t do yet (closer to the top of the page is a good place to start as these are generally easier!) Use Jo’s pictures of RAG sheets
