Models-3 CMAS CMAQ ? What the heck is the difference between CMAQ and CMAS and what is “Models-3” anyway?

CMAQ & CMAS CMAQ (SEE MAC) is the air quality model. (Community Multiscale Air Quality model) CMAS (SEE MASS) is the technology transfer system. (Community Modeling and Analysis System)

Models-3 Models-3 is: Models-3 is not: EPA’s third-generation multiscale, multimedia, modeling system. Models-3 is not: The “old” framework. The old framework is dead.
