Nominations and Appointments Report to IEEE SoutheastCon 2018 on committee members, responsibilities, activities, and goals.

Nominations and Appointments Committee Committee Members for 2018 Chair: James Conrad Mary Ellen Randall (Past Director 1) David Green (Past Director 2) Daniel Diaz (Young Professional Coord.) Greg Vaughn Jill Gostin

Nominations and Appointments Committee Committee Responsibilities Produce a list of nominees for the office of Delegate/Director- Elect for submission to the Region 3 Committee in accordance with Article III, Section 5 of the Region 3 Bylaws. Report the approved list of nominees for the office of Delegate/Director-Elect to the IEEE Operations Center by the required deadline. Nominate candidates for all Region 3 Committee Chairs and Members as appropriate and supply these nominations to the Delegate/Director. Solicit potential candidates to be considered by the IEEE Nominations and Appointments Committee and the MGA Nominations and Appointments Committee for service on IEEE Committees and Boards.

Nominations and Appointments Committee Activities and Goals for 2018 The N&A Chair issues Call for Nominations for Region Delegate/Director-Elect candidates to Region 3 Committee Members. Other activities (Done to Region Committee in Feb, will be done today to all). Should an eNotice to entire Region be sent? Committee will review nominations according to the schedule in the Operations Manual. N&A Chair solicits suggestions from members of the Region 3 ExCom and the Region 3 Committee. N&A will initiate review of candidates for R3 ExCom and standing committees (March/April). Will be done today. Committee will review nominations according to the schedule in the Operations Manual.
