October 11 Students will… complete a cross- hatching worksheet Sketch your hand using hatching and cross hatching.

Using lines to shade. Hatching- lines that are parallel to each other Cross- hatching- lines that cross

Formative Assessment Example of hand Students will need to draw their own hand using hatching and cross-hatching. Formative Assessment

October 11-13 Sketching

October 14- 18 Transfer your image. Put the drawing of your hand behind the piece of glass so you can see the image throw the glass. Using a Burnisher scratch the glass where all the hatching and cross hatching lines are.

Summative Assessment October 19-21 Students will print there plate and produce 5 good prints and sign them all. Demonstrate how to print an etching plate.

Formative Assessment October 24- 27 Students will.. Sketch their next idea using hatching and cross hatching. Formative Assessment

Summative Assessment October 28- November 2 Transfer your image onto the glass Summative Assessment

November 3-November 4 Print your next plate. 5 good prints signed
