Anchor With Hope March 31, 2019 Pastor Mike Hall

Heb 6:19 (KJV) Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil   Heb 6:18 - Heb 6:19 (NLTSE) So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

Rom 5:3 - Rom 5:5 (NCV) We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience. And patience produces character, and character produces hope. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. Pr 13:12 (KJV) Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.   Pr 13:12 (TMSG) Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around.

Lk 21:25 - Lk 21:26 (NKJV) “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word. Hope Comes From The WORD   Ps 119:49 (NKJV) Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope. Ps 119:81 (NKJV) My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word. Ps 119:114 (NKJV) You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. Lam 3:21 - Lam 3:26 (NKJV) This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.

  Job 8:7 (KJV) Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Eze 36:11 (KJV) And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

They see Him in Real Time! Most people don’t know the Lord in their youth. As we mature we look inside and realize the problem is us! The more whole a person becomes, the clearer they see who God really is!!! They see Him in Real Time!
