These gates will be controlled by designated gatekeepers. The footpath that runs along the length of the project will be closed. Pedestrians are to use the path on the opposite side of the road. The Paterson Redevelopment Hand Demolition (Zones 1 and 2) April 2019 to July 2019 Demolition Phase A 1 2 C 6 B Description of works The parts of the building identified as Zones 1 and 2 will be demolished using hand held equipment, the area to the rear of Zone 6 will also be demolished in this way. The waste will be removed in wagons leaving rubble on site to fill any voids. These parts are demolished by hand to minimise the disruption caused to adjoining buildings. The Paterson Redevelopment Service Road Interface – Vehicles / Emergency Escapes Demolition Phase Oak Road Elevation Plan View Description Hospital delivery vehicles and access via Oak Road to be maintained along the length of the service road, a turning area will also be kept clear at the top of the road. In the event of an emergency, building users make their way out of the building using the existing routes and staircase provided.
