Lady Macbeth… is regarded as one of the most evil women in Literature – not because of what she does – but because of how she speaks and the attitude she has.

At the time… There were traditional views of men and women, compared with now. Because women produce milk for babies, they were seen as being naturally caring, nurturing, gentle – caused by the processes involved in the production of milk. Men, with testosterone (though it wasn’t known as that), were seen to be naturally aggressive, violent, capable of cruelty.

How can you group them together eg spoon, knife, fork would all be categorised as CUTLERY. Angry, sad, happy would be categorised as EMOTIONS Scalpel, bed, patient could be categorised as HOSPITAL WORDS Use the Venn eg sheet to do this
