Will-My Choices Soul is also called the “Heart,” the “Flesh,” or the “Carnal Man” You just get up from a large wonderful meal, turn on the TV and in 1 hour watch nine ads for food. At the next commercial break you are in the kitchen and looking for something to eat. Why? The TV ads have changed your thoughts about being full and now you “feel” hungry. I am a Spirit I have a Soul I live in a Body Philippians 2:5 ESV  Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, NOTE: People who “REACT” are never really free. Someone else is always in control of their thoughts - emotions - & will. Someone else determines how they will feel and behave. Examples: “My kids make me so angry!” World says: FEED THE BODY: These are easily seen in your fast food ads and body care ads. FEED THE MIND: These ads tell us “Knowledge is power and is the key to success” FEED THE EMOTIONS: We are told by these ads “If it feels good do it” FEED THE WILL: We are instructed to “have it my way” and “I am free to choose and do as I please” 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV  No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 ESV  For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.  (4)  For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.  (5)  We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, Philippians 3:12-14 ESV  Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.  (13)  Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own.
