3rd Grade Weekly Forecast September 10 - 14, 2018 #ThunderousThird What we are Learning: ELA Visualizing to make sense of texts Making informal inferences Informally considering a character’s point-of-view and distinguishing it from our own Getting ideas from read alouds and writing drafts in a variety of genres Math Using properties to understand addition Fluently adding and subtracting within 1,000 Social Studies Our Environment Science How Can You Measure Length? Welcome to Third Grade! Please know there is an expectation that all leaders should be reading at least 20 minutes a night. This is the easiest thing you can do to ensure your child’s growth as a reader this year! Transportation Changes must be a written note and the office needs to be contacted about any changes. Leaders will go home the way listed unless there is a written note stating otherwise.
