Sleuthing Act I, Scene I Go through the scene line by line, and, using the language as your guide, write down any information that you discover about the scene. Your job is to discover clues from the language that tell you exactly what is going on. Use these questions as a guide: Where does the action take place? What is the time of day or season of the year? Who is speaking to whom and what is their relationship? Does the language indicate when an action happens and if so, what is the action? Do you learn anything about the characters who are not in the scene, but are being spoken of? (e.g. Claudio, Benedick, Don Pedro, etc.)
