Background JPIAMR is now running an ERA-net cofund “JPI-EC-AMR 2015 – 2019” 19 partners from 16 EU countries + Canada Aim: to unravel the complex dynamics of selection and transmission of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) according to the One Health concept. A multidisciplinary approach JPIAMR has used the ERA-net cofund to fund: 4 research calls and 3 network calls Now a new opportunity to apply for a new ERA-net cofund 2020

Suggested timeline for next steps Call opening date June 2019 Call closing date TBD (2020) Step 1: April/May - expression of interest (pre-financial commitment to the EC has been made) - Step 2: June – 1st meeting with partners that express interest (WEBEX/Zoom) Step 3: Oct/Nov – 2nd meeting with partners (in person) Step 4: Feb/March 2020 – 3rd meeting with partners (WEBEX/Zoom) Step 5: April 2020? - Submission 2020 Budget suggested from the commission 5-7 milj euros. The dates depend on the deadline and may need to be adjusted.
